all in all, spent my time lovely here. the room was decent size and perfect, with with a great view as well as bedroom. i had a microwave oven, coffee & tea makers, and a fridge. the location was great and amazing as a cinema and a theatre were next to the hotel.

The location was marvellous for walking around Seaside Aquarium. Also was next to an oceanarium and restaurants. The room was reasonably priced and having a fireplace, central heating and an iron in it was handy...

Fairly clean hotel, liked to be short walk to the beach and shops and Oregon thanks to peaceful and incredible location. The personnel was courteous, doing their best to assist. The room was clean with bedroom as well as a partial view, and reasonably priced.

easy access to beaches and local dining favorites
I enjoyed waking up to the sound of waves every morning, and the good breakfast made it super easy to start our day right without worrying about where to find food. The short stroll to the beach and nearby dining spots was a highlight of our stay.

A little old but still ok

Beachfront location was fantastic. Price was good considering location right on dunes, promenade.
It is a little dated- 80's wallpaper border, decor could use an update. But that would probably drive prices up, making it less affordable as an easy cheap weekend away from town.

Really cozy stay with a lovely partial ocean view suite! Great beach access, and the unique room setup was a pleasant surprise!
But goodness, those stains on the bedding were a bit off-putting. Plus, that mysterious 'dog poo' smell from the sink? Let's call it a vacation souvenir!

Very comfortable bed and pillows, due to the lack of free room, change for a bigger, quite tasty breakfast.
It took almost 20 minutes to find a reservation in the system, the smell of marijuana in the reception desk and an open can of beer just behind the reception desk. . We did not receive a room with a sea view. . Not a working elevator.

We have always stayed here whenever we come to Seaside since our kids were little, always had a great room and service. We love the closeness to the beach and town.
We waited too long to make a reservation, so we only got a partial view, next to the loud street and yapping dogs, so could not have our windows open much, which is what I love, to hear the ocean. Also, when we checked in, the gas fireplace didnt work, so maintenance had to come fix it. We had to ask for extra pillows, the room seemed like it had never been updated for years, smelled musty, and the TV was an old style tv, the picture was not that great. We could never hook up to WiFi, and lightbulbs were burnt out. All in all, we feel we may have to break tradition after many many years and try something else next time, sadly.

We had a fantastic family vacation at the beach! The kids had a blast playing on the pristine shore and we enjoyed long walks along the beautiful promenade, taking in the fine ocean views. The location made it easy to explore nearby shops and eateries.
My kids wished there was more variety in the breakfast offerings.

Proximity to the sea
1. No air conditioning, so in order to gain air into the room, we had to open the window, however as the hotel is on the beachfront, this is very noisey...late into the night. 2. The bed was possibly 20 years old, very poor comfort level 3. Advertised "continental breakfast" was a complete misinterpretation; just packaged muffins and danishes. No one we met had breakfast there, as there was no room set aside. 4. Describing Ebb Tide as a "resort" is very liberal use of the word!

great views but room cleanliness needs attention
The views from the King Room were fine. I particularly appreciated the easy access to both the beach and the boardwalk.
